# AI Power Grid > AI Power Grid is a decentralized generation network for text, images, video, > and 3D workloads. Developers use its OpenAI-compatible API, and independent > workers provide the underlying compute. Agents helping a user call the Grid should read the Grid agent skill first. It contains the current API origin, authentication handoff, endpoint map, tested HTTP examples, and safety notes. Do not invent or request anonymous API keys; send the human through the authenticated console handoff described by the skill. ## Agent Skill - [Grid agent skill](https://aipowergrid.io/.well-known/skills/grid/SKILL.md): Canonical machine-readable instructions for text, image, video, and 3D generation. - [Grid skill source](https://github.com/AIPowerGrid/grid-skill): Version-controlled source and human installation notes. ## Developer Documentation - [Documentation index](https://aipowergrid.io/docs): Product and network documentation. - [Quick start](https://aipowergrid.io/docs/quick-start): First API request and account setup. - [Generate with the Grid](https://aipowergrid.io/docs/generate): Text and media generation examples. - [Developer API](https://aipowergrid.io/docs/developers): API compatibility and integration guidance. - [Text worker](https://aipowergrid.io/docs/worker-llm): Run an inference worker. - [Media worker](https://aipowergrid.io/docs/worker-media): Run an image or video worker. - [Validator node](https://aipowergrid.io/docs/validator-node): Validator design and current authority. ## Public Products - [Developer console](https://console.aipowergrid.io): Human authentication, API keys, usage, and credits. - [Grid chat](https://aipg.chat): Hosted conversational interface. - [Art gallery](https://aipg.art): Hosted image, video, and 3D generation tools. - [Network explorer](https://explorer.aipowergrid.io): Public network and job visibility.
